ANTECEDENTES<\/h3>\n \n\n

Nac\u00ed en Orange County, California, y di a luz en el hospital Fountain Valley el 21 de junio. Me cri\u00e9 y crec\u00ed en el condado de Orange junto con dos hermanas gemelas menores. El instituto al que fui fue La Quinta High School, situado en Westminster. Antes de entrar en el seminario, me dedicaba sobre todo a servir en el altar, ya fuera en misas dominicales, funerales o bodas. Adem\u00e1s de servir, tambi\u00e9n particip\u00e9 en el programa de formaci\u00f3n en la fe de mi parroquia natal. Ayudaba en la oficina y de vez en cuando en los retiros. <\/p>\n \n\n \n\n

\n \u00bfCu\u00e1les son algunos de los factores que te llevaron a tomar la decisi\u00f3n de entrar en el seminario y discernir la cuesti\u00f3n de la vocaci\u00f3n al sacerdocio?<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n \n\n \n\n

Prop\u00f3sito. Me cuestion\u00e9 mi prop\u00f3sito. De ni\u00f1o, me encontr\u00e9 con la infame pregunta de \u00ab\u00bfQu\u00e9 quer\u00edas ser de mayor?\u00bb. Reflexion\u00e9 sobre qu\u00e9 era lo que quer\u00eda ser. A esto se uni\u00f3 el catolicismo que me ense\u00f1aron mis padres. Me di cuenta de que Dios era quien asignaba el prop\u00f3sito de cada uno, ya que \u00c9l es el Creador. As\u00ed comenz\u00f3 mi camino hacia el discernimiento. Otro factor que es m\u00e1s tangible per se fue el hecho de que me sent\u00eda en paz cuando estaba en la iglesia. Esta paz me llev\u00f3 a buscar respuestas.<\/p>\n \n\n \n\n

\n \u00bfQui\u00e9nes son algunas de las personas que influyeron en su decisi\u00f3n de ingresar en el seminario? \u00bfQu\u00e9 es lo que le ha ayudado de ellos?<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n \n\n \n\n

Las personas que influyeron en mi decisi\u00f3n de entrar en el seminario fueron mi familia, especialmente mi abuelo y mis padres. Al crecer, hered\u00e9 la fe que tanto amaban y a la que tanto se dedicaban. El ambiente c\u00e1lido y afectuoso que envolv\u00eda el hogar era el resultado de su expresi\u00f3n de amor al pr\u00f3jimo. Su centro era Cristo. Quer\u00eda copiar su alegr\u00eda. Quer\u00eda mantener mi centro para ser Cristo.<\/p>\n \n\n \n\n

\n Describa el momento en que supo que quer\u00eda dar los siguientes pasos para ser sacerdote.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n \n\n \n\n

No s\u00e9 si hubo un solo momento para m\u00ed. Hab\u00eda una sensaci\u00f3n de disposici\u00f3n o confianza. Sin embargo, segu\u00eda existiendo esa inseguridad, probablemente como resultado de lo desconocido o de la duda de si estoy realmente donde deber\u00eda estar. Pero tambi\u00e9n hab\u00eda paz.
