TOGETHER WE JOURNEY, TOGETHER IN FAITH
Join the Diocese of Orange to #HelpLA today. In partnership with The Orange Catholic Foundation, the Diocese of Orange has launched a diocesan-wide fundraising campaign to support our neighbors in Los Angeles affected by the wildfires. As a sign of our solidarity, the Diocese has pledged $1,000,000 to this effort—together, we can do even more. Your help is needed now more than ever. A Place
for Everyone
With 58 churches, 5 centers and 36 schools within our diocese, we have a seat for you.
Our vibrant community of 1.3 million Catholics is on a journey of faith together – growing closer to God and another as we explore, experience, and share the mystery of Christ. Under the leadership of Bishop Kevin W. Vann, the OC Diocese works to establish and support dynamic, vibrant parishes and schools welcoming all to live the Gospel with faith, joy, charity and unity. We joyfully welcome you as part of this journey!

Entering the Jubilee Year of Hope
Pope Francis has declared 2025 the Jubilee Year of Hope (“Hope does not disappoint”), a sacred time to visit holy sites, perform acts of kindness, seek forgiveness for sins, and renew their relationship with God, one another, and creation.

Play & Pray Date
Play & Pray Date is an event on Christ Cathedral Campus for young families with children around the age of 5 or younger. The event begins with 10:00 AM Mass and is followed by faith-centered sensory play, crafts, circle time, food and drinks, and other activities. This kick-off event is free to attend!

OC Catholic Radio: The Orange Catholic Foundation and #HelpLA
Welcome to another episode of Orange County Catholic Radio, featuring host Rick Howick. In the wake of the devastation brought on by the recent fires in LA County, Bishop Vann has called on the clergy, religious and faithful to be generous in spiritual, social and economic support for those suffering from this fire disaster. That is where the good people of the Orange Catholic Foundation (OCF) have stepped in to assist.
On this week’s show, Rick welcomes Kathleen Hurtt to the program. Kathleen is the Executive Vice President of the Orange Catholic Foundation, which is the fundraising arm of the Diocese of Orange. At the request of Bishop Vann, The OCF has established a special Help LA Fund to aid parishes and other reputable Catholic ministries in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles as they support those affected by the wildfires.

Visit the St. Callistus Chapel and Crypts
The final phase of Christ Cathedral’s transformation has been completed with the opening of the St. Callistus Chapel and Crypts! The chapel is named in honor of the original St. Callistus parish, which moved to Christ Cathedral when the property was acquired by the diocese.
The Romano-Byzantine-style chapel, located beneath Christ Cathedral, was blessed and dedicated on October 14, the feast day of St. Callistus I. The chapel and crypts is now open to the public. Book a tour at the link below!
