1700th Anniversary of the Nicene Creed with Fr. Hugh Barbour, O. Praem.
Join us for an evening marking the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed. On Thursday, July 10, Fr. Hugh Barbour, O. Praem., will speak on the Creed’s roots, its lasting place in the Church, and how it continues to unite Christians in the faith we proclaim.
This free event is hosted by the Office of Ecumenism & Inter-Religion of the Diocese of Orange. It will be held at the Pastoral Center in the 4th Floor Auditorium.

IMMERSION: Evangelization Training Intensive
Immersion Conference (July 17-19) is one of the most unique Catholic conferences in the world in that we will spend part of the conference ministering to others on the streets of Southern California through a variety of evangelization experiences. Jubilee Marriage Mass
On the Feast of Saints Joachim and Anne, patron saints of married couples, the bishops of California have declared July 26 the Jubilee of Marriage as part of the statewide Radiate Love Initiative.
Join us on Saturday, July 26 at 11:30AM in the Arboretum at Christ Cathedral for a special Diocesan Mass with Fr. Angelos Sebastian celebrating the vocation of marriage and the gift it brings to the Church and the world. Married couples and families are especially invited to attend and to receive the plenary indulgence offered on this holy day.

The Jubilee Year of Hope
Pope Francis had declared 2025 the Jubilee Year of Hope (“Hope does not disappoint”), a sacred time to visit holy sites, perform acts of kindness, seek forgiveness for sins, and renew their relationship with God, one another, and creation.

Visit the St. Callistus Chapel and Crypts
The final phase of Christ Cathedral’s transformation has been completed with the opening of the St. Callistus Chapel and Crypts! The chapel is named in honor of the original St. Callistus parish, which moved to Christ Cathedral when the property was acquired by the diocese.
The Romano-Byzantine-style chapel, located beneath Christ Cathedral, was blessed and dedicated on October 14, the feast day of St. Callistus I. The chapel and crypts is now open to the public. Book a tour at the link below!

Ian hopes to provide a glimpse of Him. Father Ian is a Roman Catholic Priest serving at Christ Cathedral in the Diocese of Orange in California.
