We joyfully welcome you as part of this journey!

"I AM" Eucharistic Congress 2025
God, present in the crashing waves — this is the gift of the Incarnation. Not distant or abstract, but the Maker of the universe, dwelling among the broken, shining light into darkness. Through His Cross, Resurrection, and Altar, hope is more than a sentiment—it changes how we live.
The light of hope is calling — let it in. Join us for the 2025 “I AM” Eucharistic Conference on October 17-18 at Christ Cathedral!

Join the #CreationCamino Challenge!
Creation Camino is a family-centered campaign that invites Catholics in Orange County to step outside – literally and spiritually – during this Jubilee Year of Hope. As part of the national Catholic Pilgrimages of Hope for Creation, and in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Laudato Si’ and the 800th anniversary of St. Francis’ Canticle of Creation, this initiative reconnects families to faith, wellness, and wonder through nature.
Join the Creation Camino Challenge on Saturday, September 13 at Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim, Saturday, September 27 at Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve in Huntington Beach, or on your own time using #CreationCamino!

Visit the St. Callistus Chapel and Crypts
The final phase of Christ Cathedral’s transformation has been completed with the opening of the St. Callistus Chapel and Crypts! The chapel is named in honor of the original St. Callistus parish, which moved to Christ Cathedral when the property was acquired by the diocese.
The Romano-Byzantine-style chapel, located beneath Christ Cathedral, was blessed and dedicated on October 14, 2024, the feast day of St. Callistus I. The chapel and crypts is open to the public. Book a tour at the link below!

Fr. Ian's Homilies: "Almsgiving"
“And beginning with Moses and all the prophets, [Jesus] interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself” (Luke 24.27)—and in doing so, Jesus shows us that the scriptures are about Himself. Convicted by this truth, Fr. Ian preaches every weekend the mystery of Christ as revealed in the Sunday readings. It is Jesus who we seek—and in these homilies, Fr. Ian hopes to provide a glimpse of Him. Father Ian is a Roman Catholic Priest serving at Christ Cathedral in the Diocese of Orange in California.

OC Catholic Radio: The Rise of Anti-Semitism on College Campuses
On today’s podcast entry, host Rick Howick welcomes dear friend Fr. Robert Spitzer back to the program. Formerly the president of Gonzaga University, Fr. Spitzer is a decorated author and conference speaker and the head of the Magis Center on the campus of Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove, CA. This is a very special edition of the OC Catholic Radio Show, because it is effectively the last show featuring our primary host, Rick Howick. Over his 10-year tenure as host, Rick has become an award-winning podcaster by taking home several top nods from the prestigious Catholic Media Association. We thank Rick for his many years of contributions to the OC Catholic Radio Show!
