Given the State of California and Orange County health emergency declarations, and potential for person-to-person spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 in the U.S., Bishop Vann has issued a dispensation from Holy Mass obligation until further notice. See resources at link to make an act of spiritual communion from home. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Rest in the Lord and enjoy time as a family at home. Call or ‘facetime’ those who may be alone. We need to practice social distance as part of a broader practice of social solidarity in love of neighbor. Look for safe ways to help those in need, especially the most vulnerable.
And don’t forget to give to your parish online or through the mail, so the pastoral ministry to all in need continues as needed during this crisis.

Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
