Catholic Conversations on Racism Series
Dr. Yolanda Brown, who serves on the Diocese of Orange Anti-Racism Committee, and Fr. Claude Williams, a Norbertine priest from St. Michael’s Abbey, are among the guest speakers of a special event on July 1 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 5 p.m. Mass to follow.
Since February, Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Wilmington has hosted afternoons of liturgies, lectures, workshops and discussions as a response to the sin of racism. We have approached these conversations within the framework of the Church’s mission to communicate the Gospel message by word and example. This mission includes the call to turn away from sinful behaviors, including sins of racism.
