Wednesday nights October 2 – November 27 Catholics Invade the Bar is an annual, 9-week theology series with a new guest speaker each week at Perla Azul Restaurant! Single or married, with or without children, we got you! Childcare is available and will be hosted at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in La Habra from 5:30pm until 7:30pm each night of our series at the OLG School in the back of the property behind the church. Our childcare volunteers are mothers who are fully approved to work with children according to the norms of the Diocese of Orange. We can only take children who are potty trained. Although you may not want to miss out on any, I want to highlight 6 of these nights with topics and speakers that may be particularly of interest to you as a young adult. October 9: Come learn how to read scripture with Dr. Tikhon A. Pino, PhD and be prepared to laugh a lot! October 23: Come learn how to strengthen our families, our countries, and our faith through friendship with Rev. Henry Stephen, OP, SThL, PhD (cand). October 30: Rev. Patrick Mary Briscoe, OP, SThL is speaking on Blessed Carlo Acutis, who is approved to become the first millennial saint!
