  1. Head to the Lumen Christi Student Portal (click here):
Select “New Student” to create your account.  (Registration in LCI is at no cost and a coupon code exists for each school. Please use your school email for all your accounts. ) 2. Attend a Lumen Retreat This retreat is offered periodically throughout the year. When possible, the retreat is the first step in the certification process, but may be taken when available.  3. Choose your path and take your courses: Basic Certification for school teachers can be completed in one of three ways. You will need to select one option below:  When your courses are complete, submit your application to lumenchristi@rcbo.org. Click here to download application.  You have up to 3 years to complete the basic certification. Once completed, it is valid for 3 years and you will receive a printed certificate. Certificates are processed in April, August, and December.

Ministry certification equips the baptized to fulfill the call of God on their life in a role of service to the community. Lumen Christi offers certifications in various ministries such as catechesis (for volunteers and Catholic school teachers).

Workshops are offered intermittently on various topics to provide in depth information and skills training (for example Mental Health training or Street Evangelization Training)

Evangelize Now Conference

Lumen Christi provides an annual conference on the third Saturday of October every year.  The Evangelize Now Conference provides inspiration and skills for attendees to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to their families, friends, neighborhoods and communities.
